Cloud4Y is PCI DSS 4.0 compliant

Cloud4Y has successfully completed an audit and received a certificate of compliance with the latest version of the PCI DSS 4.0 standard. This version will be mandatory for all payment system participants from 2025, replacing the current PCI DSS 3.2.1 standard, which has been in use since 2018. The updated standard strengthens payment data security requirements, provides innovative security methods and emphasizes efforts to address emerging threats.

The PCI DSS 4.0 version includes a more detailed threat analysis and a more personalized approach to security. In addition, the basic level of operational and technical requirements for the improvement of payment security has been expanded, and specific methods for the control of existing threats are now prescribed.

For our company, passing the audit demonstrated a high level of infrastructure security and compliance with the new requirements. Despite the increased standards and more complex audit procedures, Cloud4Y has proven to have all the necessary features and processes in place to ensure data security.

Compliance Control, a QSA-certified auditor specializing in payment data security assessments, conducted the audit. The certificate confirms that our data center and cloud infrastructure meet the highest standards for card data protection of international payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard, MIR and others.

The PCI DSS 4.0 certificate opens up new opportunities for Cloud4Y customers. Now, companies that need to comply with the standard can launch projects faster by hosting infrastructure in Cloud4Y data center.
