International Forum "Data Centre-2024" - Results


On 5 September the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel & Business Centre hosted the International Forum "Data Centre-2024". This is the most important professional event for those whose activities are related to cloud technologies and data centres. The main objective of the event is to share experience and knowledge, identify and discuss trends influencing the development of critical information infrastructures of enterprises and governments.

The Forum brought together leading experts from the IT industry to discuss current issues and prospects in data centre (DCC) development. The event provided a unique opportunity to share experiences, build partnerships and assess current trends in the IT market. A unique feature of the Forum was the participation of a large number of representatives of vertical markets - both government agencies and large Russian companies representing the financial sector, industry, telecommunications, retail, oil and gas, insurance, medicine, education, and so on.

The conference was attended by over 850 representatives of Russian IT companies. Among the participants were directors, owners and managers of data centres, heads of security services, chief power engineers, as well as employees of departments responsible for the implementation, development and operation of data centres.

As a result of plenary sessions, discussions, and round tables, important issues related to the development and operation of information systems, problems of domestic software development, and the production of telecommunications and IT equipment were raised and discussed.

Cloud4Y's report was presented by Diana Tusova, the company's technical pre-sales manager, who talked about the company's experience in developing a cloud provider under sanctions, as well as about the features of building a new data centre of the provider in Marfino, near Moscow. The issues of import substitution, placement of the provider's infrastructure in foreign data centres, and the main requirements for the equipment in them were also addressed. More than 100 users had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the peculiarities of Russian virtualisation.

At stand #59, where Cloud4Y representatives were located, visitors could learn more about Russian virtualisation solutions and get free access to test cloud infrastructure.
